Role and company
This role is initially flexible and will become hybrid as the need arises.
This is a key role for someone who will be a fundamental part of the company, with real potential to grow into a senior leadership seat as MAVI scales.
MAVI is a longevity architecture practice working on high-end homes, hotels and developments worldwide, with current projects and clients across Geneva, London, Dubai, New York, LA, Spain and the wider US. We engineer buildings around human biology, using our own framework of 129 measurable variables across ten health pillars, from air and water to light, acoustics, materials and nature.
We are building a category rather than competing inside one. Our clients are private individuals, hospitality groups and developers who expect their buildings to measurably improve the health of the people inside them, and who expect the work to be beautiful as well as rigorous.
The opportunity
You will work directly with the founder to turn MAVI's highest-priority commercial and company-building work into results. You will take loosely defined problems, create structure, identify the next actions and drive them through to completion.
The work will change as the company develops. You may prepare materials for a developer conversation in Dubai, build the analysis behind a new pricing tier, pull together a client proposal, coordinate across our delivery and technology partners, or design a process that does not exist yet. The role centres on research, analysis, communication and end-to-end execution.
The role spans both ends of the scale. You might build the analysis behind a new pricing tier in the morning and book a complex multi-city trip in the afternoon. You will prepare meeting notes, organise travel, keep projects moving and make sure nothing falls between people, as well as doing the research and the thinking. You will support the founder directly and work alongside our technical and delivery partners. If owning both the thinking and the doing appeals, this is the right role. If you are looking for strategy without logistics, it is not.
If you want to build your own company one day, this role will offer a steeper and more practical learning curve than most incubator or accelerator programmes. You will work alongside an experienced founder on a real venture with real clients, capital and deadlines. You will see how difficult decisions are made and will be expected to contribute to them.
This is a demanding role with real accountability. You will receive direct access, full context and candid feedback, but you must be able to learn quickly, operate with incomplete information, recover from mistakes and keep pace. The standards and the intensity are high.
Leadership-track opportunity
This role is designed for someone who intends to start a company within the next few years, or who wants to grow with MAVI and earn a senior seat as we scale.
Essential
- Strong, proven entrepreneurial spirit. We look for people who want to build and to learn to build. This is not a punch-in and punch-out job.
- Ideally you have built, launched, organised or sold something, created a project or venture from zero, or repeatedly found ways to make progress without a ready-made playbook.
- Evidence that you can take ownership and deliver high-quality work in a demanding environment. That might come from a startup, consultancy, investment team, corporate strategy role, research environment, design practice, student venture or any setting where you created scope and made things happen.
- Ideally three or more years of relevant experience. Exceptional graduates with strong evidence of initiative and execution are also encouraged to apply.
- Exceptional attention to detail. Our work is scientific and our clients are discerning. A number that is nearly right, a document that is nearly finished or a deadline that is nearly met does not work here.
- A genuine eye for design. You will produce and review material that represents MAVI to architects, designers and private clients. It needs to look as considered as it reads.
- Comfort with the full range of the work. In a company this size, the person who writes the investor summary also books the flights. We are looking for someone who takes the same pride in a perfectly organised trip as in a well-argued analysis.
- Strong numerical and analytical ability. You are confident using spreadsheets and quantitative evidence to structure problems, test assumptions and build defensible conclusions.
- The ability to create exceptional presentations and documents that are logically structured, visually clear and persuasive, with the right level of technical depth for the audience.
- Excellent written English, and the research, writing and coordination skills to contribute materially to client proposals, partnership materials and investor documents.
- Fluent, responsible use of AI tools. We run on AI internally and expect you to use it to work faster and better.
Desirable
- Interest or background in health, longevity, architecture, interiors, real estate or the built environment.
- Exposure to venture fundraising, investor research, financial modelling, data rooms or due diligence.
- Experience with ultra-high-net-worth clients or in luxury environments, where discretion is absolute.
- Experience with CRM, project management or knowledge management tools.
- Working French, given our Geneva base. German, Arabic or Spanish are useful given our markets.
